I began as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Ohio Northern University in fall 2018, where I teach a variety of courses related to American politics and public policy. Prior to joining ONU, I graduated with a dual title PhD in Political Science (American politics) and Women’s,Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Penn State.
My research focuses on the intersection of representation and public policy, with a particular emphasis on how marginalized populations are represented in the American political system. My work has been published in journals such as Politics & Gender, Interest Groups & Advocacy, Policy Studies Journal, and Politics, Groups, & Identities.
